To design, erect & progressively strike a full demolition scaffold & loading gantry to the existing building on all elevations.

OVERVIEW

Stephenson House in Camden is being refurbished and remodelled to deliver a mixed-use development, adding biodiversity and green space into a currently hard and hostile urban area. Masons Scaffolding were engaged by O’Keefe Demolition to provide full demolition scaffolding to existing buildings on all elevations.

The building is on a very busy main red route and the side roads provided issues for loading/unloading which meant all materials for rear/courtyard had to go up onto front gantry then walked through building and out into rear areas prior to erecting. The Chinese Embassy Building on one side provided various design issues which our Mason’s engineers overcame along with a double horse/cantilever solution on the William Street Elevation.
